Create Goals that Unite Your Imagination
God is loving and forgiving.
When you surrender your will to God’s will, you allow God’s love and forgiveness to come through you to others.
You have to return to innocence to once again unite with God’s loving and forgiving spirit, which was lost with the maturity of your selfish survival-based instincts.
Those instincts distort your focus by constantly demanding more money, sex, and control of others.
God guides you, protects you, and provides for you, so long as you are united with God by surrendering to His loving and forgiving spirit, and not blocking His love and forgiveness from yourself to others.
If you have faith in accomplishing goals you imagine, those goals will come true.
However, those goals can be good or evil—in other words, loving or selfish.
When you create goals with your imagination, those goals can be based on your selfish instinct-based will, which wants more money, sex, and control of others, or they can be based on God’s higher will, which always includes unconditionally forgiving and loving others.
You can create and achieve selfish goals for pleasure, distraction, false security, and control of others, but those achievements will not bring you happiness, peace, and joy.
They will only bring you temporary fleeting feelings of excitement, false security, unloving superficial relationships, loneliness, and depression with bewilderment.
Genuine happiness, peace, and joy only come from your forgiving others, which leads to you unconditionally loving others, which is to unite with God’s spirit of love beyond your own.
By uniting with God’s loving spirit as your guiding light, you receive divine guidance, divine protection, and divine provisions.
Your task is to use your imagination and your faith to create goals in line with God’s unconditionally loving and forgiving will.
In 1 Corinthians 13, Paul wrote, “If I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing” (NLT).
If you work in partnership with God, linking your imagination with His will, that will make your life exponentially satisfying in incomprehensible ways.
Before you experience this blissful partnership, you must have faith in God.
Write down a list of things you would like to change in your life, and also things you want to accomplish in your life.
Every morning when you wake up, read your list and meditate on it, visualizing the goals on it as if they have already come true.
If your list contains goals that will benefit a greater good than yourself, with love and forgiveness being expressed in helping others, then achieving those goals will bring you happiness, peace, and joy.
When your goals are aligned with God’s will, that will help others and you equally, not just others.
If your list contains goals that only fulfill selfish desires that will not benefit others—or may possibly even harm them—the achievement of those goals will only bring you pain and suffering.
Remember the saying, “Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it.”
Goals that promote love and forgiveness benefit the greater good by having win-win outcomes that benefit yourself and others.
Those are the only goals that will truly satisfy you, bringing you the happiness, peace, and joy that have eluded you for your entire life.
