God: "Surprise! I'm here!"
We are selfish, unforgiving, fearful, and conditionally loving, with strings attached, expecting money, sex, and control in return.
But if we decide to overcome our selfishness and our fear, and give to others unconditionally, we have chosen that path with our own free will.
That choice may appear to be a sacrifice, but it is really an investment with a divine return when it is done with unconditional love.
You are allowing God’s love to come through you, setting an example for others.
You are becoming a vessel for God’s unconditional love by surrendering your will to His.
God didn’t force you to do that.
You are not a robot.
God gave you free will, so you have the power to lock Him out or let Him in.
When you choose to allow God’s unconditional love to flow through you by giving to others, you are uniting with God.
Remember, God is love.
However, you can choose to stop God’s love from flowing through you by becoming selfish again and choosing not to give to and forgive others unconditionally.
Fear says that giving to others is a sacrifice.
Fear is right if your giving is transactional, with strings attached.
When giving is conditional, there is no divine return; the money or goods are lost, and the relationship is usually destroyed by resentment.
Fear supports conditional giving, but that sets you up for failure and disappointment.
God is only involved with unconditional giving, not conditional giving.
Fear will always try to stop you from unconditional giving.
To evolve spiritually, you need to overcome selfish, instinct-based, survival fears, so that you can give unconditionally for longer and longer periods, showing others what God looks like in the flesh.
You must ignore your fears in order to keep giving unconditionally to others out of love.
Unconditional giving is not a sacrifice, as some people fear.
When you give out of love, you get back what you have given plus more.
Unconditional givers show God to others through their giving.
Then God is revealed to the givers themselves by the love that comes back to them.
If you choose to turn away from your selfish nature, you will get credit for that choice.
Unconditional love is not part of your instinctual human nature.
Your natural hardwiring is fear-based for survival.
Keep choosing to allow God’s unconditional love to flow through you, to “make love win.”
Nothing feels better than giving freely to others out of love.
Giving freely to others is unconditional love in action.
God has been there all along helping you, even when you didn’t know or understand that.
When you accept God’s direction and guidance, you will no longer have to strain to solve the puzzles in life.
By surrendering your control to God, He will effortlessly give you solutions and directions.
Remember, God is love.
He created us and the entire universe.
God is the Father; we are his children.
You are separate from God until you bring Him here to exist through you by unconditionally forgiving others, which enables His love to flow through you.
“If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you.” (Matthew 6.14, NLT)
Jesus didn’t forgive our sins for us; He just showed us how to forgive our enemies.
When He said, “Father, forgive them, they know not what they do,” He was forgiving the people who were killing Him, and asking the Father to also forgive them.
In order to allow God’s spirit to unite with us, we must forgive our enemies.
We can’t allow God’s love through us when we harbor hate and resentment in our hearts.
This reunion with God is the purpose and highlight of this life, good way beyond imagination.
After I realized that God is real in a way I didn’t know before, I understood that He protects me because I’m expressing His love through me.
As long as I remain a vessel for God’s spirit, He will protect me.
If I stop loving others, God’s protection is no longer assured.
I have come to see, without any doubts whatsoever, that God has been preparing me to do His work.
I accomplish that by getting rid of the blocks in the way of helping others, which allows Him to remain in my life .
God has shaped people around me for years to help me with my mission.
God has been there all along, preparing the way for me, preparing people to help me, and shaping me to better help Him with His will.
God chose me before I chose Him.
I was totally unaware of that before He revealed Himself to me.
I know that God is working with me and through me, and that I am not alone in doing His good work.
The good work does not originate from me, but from our loving Creator working through me, who gives me wisdom, protects me, and supplies the people I need to help me to move forward.
When God teaches me through words spoken by other people, He is shaping me to be better and better at removing the blocks in the way of my expert giving, thereby enabling me to improve my practices of love and forgiveness.
It was such a relief to come to know with certainty that I am not alone.
I have had God’s help all along the way, continue to get it now, and have complete assurance that I will continue to get it for the rest of my life.
Now my task is to just follow God’s wisdom and direction as He reveals it to me every day.
I always try to make love win by unconditionally giving to others, even in the darkness of not seeing or feeling God.
I keep doing the giving out of love, even when I’m in the dark, until God again reveals Himself to me.
God is always there to help me, whether or not I see or feel Him.
I am so grateful that God has revealed Himself to me.
Now God gives me everything I need, so I live in an excited state of knowing that He will reveal more and more to me.
What God reveals to me is always so exciting.
My life keeps getting better and better.
How God works and what He is are better than anything I ever could have imagined.
For four years, I was in the dark, although I still gave to others unconditionally.
I didn’t understand that I could have a direct and personal relationship with God.
But I still kept giving to others unconditionally, mostly because it felt good to give out of love.
Finally, I came to a place in my expert giving where God fully revealed His complete love and presence to me.
Greg, my mentor, was with me when I had my full revelation of God’s presence and power.
Greg blesses and forgives his enemies, has been faithful to his wife in a long-term loving marriage, and is a positive, patient, kind, warm, tolerant, and uplifting man at all times, regardless of his life circumstances.
For more than a decade, I have met with Greg every Tuesday night for at least four hours.
Greg is a student of the Bible, who has maintained his sobriety for more than three decades by attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings the whole time.
He has met with his mentor, Joe, every Friday for the last twenty years to study the Bible.
Joe helps to found churches around the world.
Thank you, Greg, for being a consistent example of a vessel for God.
After my full revelation of God’s love and presence, which was a peak experience, everything in my life changed.
God began to reveal more and more of Himself to me.
It was a complete spiritual awakening.
Since then, I have had wisdom and solutions to any and all of my problems.
God has given me those solutions and directions with no struggle or mental effort on my part.
God has seen to it that the timing of those solutions and directions always lines up perfectly with my calendar.
God reveals to me the roles of people who are going to help me.
All of those people can see how they have been unknowingly prepared for their current roles.
All of those people can cite examples of how responsibilities fell away from them so they would have time to help me now.
They also acknowledge how they received specific training in the past to prepare them for their current roles in helping me now.
God has fully planned, orchestrated, trained, and shaped events behind the scenes to prepare everyone for this moment.
It is so amazing and beautiful!
I am fully aware of God’s protection.
Before my peak experience, I always thought that I had to defend or protect myself.
Fear told me that.
Fear told me that I needed a gun to protect myself.
Fear is based on the lack of knowledge that there actually is a God who will protect and provide for us.
When people never overcome their fear, they can’t give unconditionally out of love for long enough to experience that giving to others unconditionally feels better than anything else because it is actually God revealing Himself through them.
When you give love, it comes back to you.
Through your love of others, you show God to them; and they show God to you by returning the love to you.
You can find out for yourself that the true purpose in life is better than you could ever have imagined.
That will happen when you realize that our loving Creator has been helping you since the beginning, is helping you now, and will always be there to help you, so long as you keep Him around by loving and forgiving others unconditionally.
To keep God in your life, you must continually remove the blocks of anger and resentment, practice forgiveness, make amends for harms done to you as they occur, and give to others out of love unconditionally.
Have faith and trust in the timing.
But God’s timing may not always be your timing.
Have patience.
If you have to wait, there is always a reason.
Something you need to learn to sharpen yourself is happening or needs to happen first.
Look around and listen.
Be open and humble.
If someone says something to hurt your feelings, don’t react.
Look for the lesson.
When you give to others out of love, resources come back to you when you need them.
Your heart will give you the wisdom for how to give freely again, ignoring the fears that tell you that you need to hoard things.
Stop listening to your fears.
Turn them off as soon as they start.
Your fears are trying to protect you, so you can survive in the flesh.
But you don’t need your fears once God is in your life.
When God is there, He protects you.
Without God, your fears have to protect you.
But once you invite God into your life by removing the blocks in the way of unconditional love and forgiveness, God will be with you.
You will no longer need fear.
When you surrender your will and give all control to God, He comes fully into your life.
Then you will be much happier, for the truth will set you free.
Stay in the awareness of the present moment.
That is where God is and where He will give you intuitive thoughts and directions.
Follow His directions.
When you entertain fears, you are moving from the present to the future, trying to control things.
God is not there with you.
Return to the present and give God control again.
Have patience.
Don’t be too hard on yourself.
It takes practice.
When fear comes up, say, “God is with me.”
That will bring you back to the present moment, replace the fearful thoughts, and give control back to God.
In the present with God is where you will find a peace, happiness, and joy that you have never known before.
The Alcoholics Anonymous acronym H.A.L.T. means to not let yourself get too hungry, angry, lonely, or tired, because those states of mind can lead you away from the present and back to fear.
Those states of mind make loving and forgiving others more challenging.
I humbly give God all the credit for enabling me to help others to experience the true purpose of our lives here, which is better than anyone could have ever imagined.
